A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING ADRIAN OSAMI YASUTAKE FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, ADRIAN OSAMI YASUTAKE has been employed by the
7
City of Vernon since January 2, 1969; and
8
WHEREAS, ADRIAN OSAMI YASUTAKE will retire from the
9
service of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1996; and
10
WHEREAS, ADRIAN OSAMI YASUTAKE was hired by the City of
11
Vernon as an Engineering Aide II in the Community Services
12
13
14
Department on January 2, 1969, advanced to Engineering Aide I on
January 1, 1971, raised to Engineering Technician on June 1, 1974,
elevated to Engineering Associate on May 3, 1981, received a
15
Certificate of Attendance for Participation in the AWWA Water
16
Sampling Seminar from the American Water Works Association,
17

20
21
California-Nevada Section on February 13, 1991, and received a
Training Certificate from the City for Permit-Required Confined
Space Entry on October 13, 1993; and
WHEREAS, ADRIAN OSAMI YASUTAKE has faithfully served the
City of Vernon for approximately 27~ years, and his loss will be

deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
