A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING RESOLUTION RA-88 WHICH
APPROVES AN AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX NO. 1 OF
RESOLUTION NO. RA-5, AS AMENDED BY RA-29, FOR
THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. RA-5, adopted September 5, 1989, the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon approved a Conflict of
Interest Code and submitted said Code to the City Council of the

City of Vernon pursuant to section 87300, et seq., of the California
10
Government Code; and
11
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5668, adopted September 5, 1989, the
City Council found that the Conflict of Interest Code submitted by
12
13
the Agency met the criteria of California Government Code section
14
87302 and approved said Code for the Redevelopment Agency of the
15
City of Vernon; and
16
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency adopted Resolution RA-29 on
May 7, 1991, which amended Resolution No. RA-5, including Appendix
17

1 thereof; and
19
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Redevelopment Agency's
20
Resolution RA-29, on May 7, 1991; and
21
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has submitted Resolution RA-
22
88 which approves an amendment to Appendix No. 1 of Resolution No.
23
RA-29 to add and delete certain positions as designated employees
required to report financial interests under designated disclosure
categories and submits said amendment to the City Council of the

City of Vernon for its approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
3 SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon hereby finds
4 and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true and
5 correct.
6 SECTION 2: The Amendment to Appendix No. 1 of Resolution No.
7 RA-5 and RA-29 for the Conflict of Interest Code of the
8 Redevelopment Agency submitted by the Agency and provided for in
9 Resolution RA-88 is hereby approved.
10 SECTION 3: Said Conflict of Interest Code is deemed amended by
11 the Agency pursuant to sections 87303 and 87306 of the California
12 Government Code.
13 SECTION 4: The city Clerk of the city of Vernon shall certify
14 to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
15 same shall be in full force and effect.
16 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of October, 1996.
