RESOLUTION NO. 6860

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING RESOLUTION NO. IDA-8 WHICH
APPROVES AN AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX NO. 1 OF
RESOLUTION NO. IDA-5 FOR THE CONFLICT OF
INTEREST CODE FOR THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. IDA-5, adopted August 30, 1994,
the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Vernon approved
7
8 a Conflict of Interest Code and submitted said Code to the City
9
Council of the City of Vernon pursuant to section 87300, et seq. of
the California Government Code:

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6505, adopted August 30, 1994,
the City Council found that the Conflict of Interest Code submitted
12
13
by the Authority met the criteria of California Government Code
14
section 87302, and approved said Code for the Industrial Development
15 Authority of the City of Vernon; and
16
WHEREAS,
the Industrial Development Authority has
17 submitted Resolution IDA-8 which approves an amendment to Appendix
18 No. 1 of Resolution No. IDA-5 to add and delete certain positions as
19
designated employees required to report financial interest under
designated disclosure categories and submit said amendment to the
20
21
City Council of the City of Vernon for its approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
23
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
26 true and correct.

SECTION 2: The Amendment to Appendix No.1 of Resolution
28 No. IDA-5 for the Conflict of Interest Code of the Industrial

1 Development Authority submitted by the Authority and provided for in
2 Resolution IDA-8 is hereby approved.

SECTION 3: Said Conflict of Interest of Code is deemed
4 amended by the Authority pursuant to sections 87303 and 87306 of the
5 California Government Code.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
7 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
8 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of october, 1996.
