A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "B", PAGE 6
OF RESOLUTION NO. 6811 WHICH FIXED THE
COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY
AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6611 was adopted by the City
7
Council of the City of Vernon on June 27, 1996, to be effective on
8
July 1, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
9

establish a new salary scale for the position of Director of Light
11
and Power.
12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
13
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The city Council of the City of Vernon does
15
hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
16
are true and correct.
17
SECTION 2: Effective September 29, 1996, Schedule II,
18
Exhibit "B", page 6 of Resolution No. 6811 applicable to the Light
19
and Power Department is hereby amended to change the salary scale
20
as indicated on the amended page 6 of Schedule II, Exhibit "B",
21
which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part hereof.
22
SECTION 3: In all other respects, Resolution No. 6811
23
shall remain in full force and effect, and the provisions of
24
Resolution No. 6811 not consistent with or in conflict with this
25
resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: The city Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of October, 1996.
