A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING JOHN R. KRISTE FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, JOHN R. KRISTE has been employed by the City of
7
Vernon since December 1, 1957; and
8
WHEREAS, JOHN R. KRISTE retired from the service of the
City of Vernon on November 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, JOHN R. KRISTE was hired by the city of Vernon
9

as a Hoseman in the Vernon Fire Department on December 1, 1957 and
advanced to an Engineer on April 1, 1979; and
12

WHEREAS, JOHN R. KRISTE has faithfully served the City, of
Vernon for approximately 39 years, and his loss will be deeply
felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes
this opportunity to commend JOHN R. KRISTE for his many years of

devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION '. 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
JOHN R. KRISTE continued success in whatever endeavors he may
undertake.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and present a certified
copy thereof to JOHN R. KRISTE and that thereupon and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
