Resolution No. 6925 " ~' 1 RESOLUTION NO. 6925 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "B", PAGE 6, AND SCHEDULE III, EXHIBIT "c" OF RESOLUTION NO. 6811 WHICH FIXED THE COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES 4 5 6 7 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6611 was adopted by the City 8 Council of the City of Vernon on June 27, 1996, to be effective on 9 July 1, 1996; and 10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to (i) delete the position of Resource Planning Manager in the Light 11 12 and Power Department; (ii) establish the position of Assistant 13 Director of Resource Management in the Light and Power Department 14 with the appropriate salary scale; and (iii) revise the auto 15 allowance designations in Schedule III, Exhibit "C", to reflect 16 the reorganization of certain positions. 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: 18 19 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does 20 hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove 21 are true and correct. 22 SECTION 2: Effective March 16, 1997, Schedule II, Exhibit "B", page 6 of Resolution No. 6811 applicable to the Light 23 24 and Power Department is hereby amended to delete the position of 25 Resource Planning Manager as indicated on the amended page 6 of 26 Schedule II, Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto as Attachment 27 "A" and made a part hereof. 28 SECTION 3: Effective March 16, 1997, Schedule II, 1 Exhibit "B", page 6 of Resolution No. 6811 applicable to the Light 2 and Power Department is hereby amended to establish the position 3 of Assistant Director of Resource Management with an appropriate 4 salary schedule as indicated on the amended page 6 of Schedule II, 5 Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a 6 part hereof. 7 SECTION 4: Effective April 1, 1997, Schedule III, 8 Exhibit "C", of Resolution No. 6811 applicable to the Light and 9 Power Department is hereby amended to change the Field Operations 10 Manager to Electrical Engineering Manager and to change the 11 Resource Planning Manager to Assistant Director of Resource 12 Management as indicated on the amended Schedule III, Exhibit "C", 13 which is attached hereto as Attachment "B" and made a part hereof. 14 SECTION 5: In all other respects, Resolution No. 6811, 15 as amended by Resolution Nos. 6862, 6887, and 6897, shall remain 16 in full force and effect, and the provisions of Resolution Nos. 17 6811, 6862, 6887 and 6897 not consistent with or in conflict with 18 this resolution are hereby repealed. 19 SECTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall 20 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and 21 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. 22 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this ~ day.of March, 1997~, _'~or 23 24 25 ATTEST: 4 26 BRUCE V. This allowance is for the use and maintenance of said motor vehicle. When authorized in advance by the Department Head, an employee using his/her personal car for City business will be reimbursed at twenty-five cents (.25c) per mile.
