RESOLUTION NO. 6929
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF C.T. & F., INC.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 530 OF THE CITY
OF VERNON
WHEREAS, C.T. & F., Inc. was awarded Contract No.
6 530 for work on Traffic Signal Modernization pursuant to
7 Resolution No. 6789 of the City of Vernon; and
8
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of
9 Community Services has reported to the City Council of the
10 City of Vernon on March 12, 1997, that the work of
11 C.T. & F has been completed and recommends that the work be
12 accepted and payment be made to the Contractor in accordance
13 with the agreement.
14 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
15 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

17 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
18

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2:
The work of C.T. & F., Inc.,
pursuant to Contract No. 530 is hereby approved and accepted
21 by the City Council of the City of Vernon.

23 seven Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars
24
SECTION 3:
The total contract amount is Ninety-
($97,587.00) .
There is now due to the Contractor a final
25 partial payment . totaling Forty-one Thousand Two Hundred
26 Seventy-nine Dollars and Thirty Cents ($41,279.30), which is
27 payable at this time, and the remaining ten percent (10%) of
28 the total contract amount, or the sum of Nine Thousand Seven
'"
1 Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars and Seventy Cents ($9,758.70) is
2 payable thirty-five days after the adoption of this
3 resolution.

SeCTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon
5 hereby directs payment of said sums as set forth to
6 C.T. & F., Inc., and instructs the City Clerk to file a
7 notice of completion with the County Recorder.
8 SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
9 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
10 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be full force and
11 effect.
