RESOLUTION NO~ 6990
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE
ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY C.M.D. PARTNERS
WI1EREAS, C.M.D. Partners is the owner of five parcels
5 of land (parcels A-E) located at 4733, 4789 and 4889 Lorna
6 Vista Avenue, all as described and shown on the attached
7 Exhibit "A" consisting of two (2) pages which are incorporated
8 herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length;
9 and
10
WHEREAS, C.M.D. Partners desires to adjust the
11 boundaries between the five parcels whereby said adjustment
12 will create five new properties as described and shown on the
13 attached Exhibit "B", consisting of four (4) pages which are
14 incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth
15 at length; and
16 WHEREAS, C.M.D. Partners has applied for a Lot Line
17 Adjustment pursuant to Government Code Section 66412 (d) of the
18 Subdivision Map Act, which provides an exemption from the
19 Subdivision Map Act requirements as follows:
20 (d) A lot line adjustment between two or

more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken
from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
where a greater number of parcels than originally
existed is not thereby created, provided the lot line
adjustment is approved by the local agency, or
advisory agency.,.."

WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community

1 Services, has recommended that said Lot Line Adjustment be
2 approved; and
3 WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the lot line
4 adjustment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances
5 of the City of Vernon.
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
7 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
9 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained

hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2:
The request for a Lot Line Adjustment
dated March 10, 1997, to adjust the boundaries of the five
existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit
"A" whereby said adjustment will create five new properties as
described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in
accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson,
Director of Community Services.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1997.
