RESOLUTION NO. 6997
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE
APJUSTMENTREQUESTED BY EXCELPRO, INC.
AND SOUTH OF BANDINI PARTNERS
WHEREAS, Excelpro, Inc. is the owner of a parcel of
land (paJ::'celA) located at 2800 Ayers Avenue in the City of
Vernon, and South of Bandini Partners Trust is the owner of a
parcel of land (parcel B) located at 4444 Ayers Avenue in the

City of Vernon, alIas described and shown on the attached

Exhibit "A" consisting of four (4) pages which are incorporated
herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length;
and
WHEREAS, Excelpro, Inc. and South of Bandini Partners
desire to adjust the common boundary between the two parcels

whereby said adjustment will create two new properties as
described and shown on the attached Exhibit
consisting of
"B"
five (5) pages which are incorporated herein by this reference
as though fully set forth at length; and
WHEREAS, Excelpro, Inc. and South of Bandini
Partners have applied for a Lot Line Adjustment pursuant to

Government Code Section 66412(d) of the Subdivision Map Act,

which provides an exemption from the Subdivision Map Act
requirements as follows:
(d) A lot line adjustment between two or
more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken
from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
where a greater number of parcels than originally
existed is not thereby created, provided the lot line

4 WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community
5 Services, has recommended that said Lot Line Adjustment be
6 approved; and
7 WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the lot line
8 adjustment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances
9 of the City of Vernon.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
11 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
12 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
13 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
14 hereinabove are true and correct.
15 SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment
16 dated June 17, 1997, to adjust the common boundary of the two
17 existing properties being. described in the attached Exhibit
18 "A" whereby. said adjustment will create two new properties as
19 described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in
20 accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson,
21 Director of Community Services.

adjoining parcels of land located at 2800 and 4444 Ayers Avenue in the
City of Vernon.
They have requested an adjustment of the boundary lines between the
parcels which will result in a portion of land being transferred from
the easterly parcel to the westerly parcel.
This has been reviewed by the Director of Community Services and the
City Attorney, and it is hereby recommended that the lot line
adjustment be approved.
