1 RESOLUTION NO. 7039
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE
3 ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY THE BOC GROUP
4 WHEREAS, The BOC Group is the owner of two parcels of
5 land located at 5600 Bickett Street (parcel A) and 5602 Bickett
6 Street (parcel B) in the City of Vernon, all as described and
7 shown on the attached Exhibit "A" consisting of four (4) pages
8 which are incorporated herein by this reference as though fully
9 set forth at length; and
10 WHEREAS, The BOC Group desires to adjust the common
11 boundary between the two parcels whereby said adjustment will
12 create two new properties as described and shown on the
13 attached Exhibit "B" consisting of three (3) pages which are
14 incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth
15 at length; and
16 WHEREAS, The BOC Group has applied for a Lot Line
17 Adjustment pursuant to Government Code Section 66412 (d) , which
18 provides that the Subdivision Map Act does not apply to the
19 following:
20 (d) A lot line adjustment between two or
21 more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken
22 from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
23 where a greater number of parcels than originally
24 existed is not thereby created, provided the lot line

adjustment is approved by the local agency, or
advisory agency.. . . "
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community
1 Services, has recommended that said.Lot Line Adjustment be
2 approved; and
3 WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the lot line
4 adjustment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances
5 of the City of Vernon.
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
7 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
8 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
9 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
10 hereinabove are true and correct.
11 SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment
12 dated October 6, 1997, to adjust the common boundary of the two
13 existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit
14 "A" whereby said adjustment will create two new properties as
15 described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in
16 accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson,
17 Director of Community Services.
18 SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
19 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
20 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
21 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1997.

Honorable Members:
The BOC Group is the owner of two adjoining parcels of land
located at 5600 and 5602 Bickett Street in the City of Vernon.
They have requested an adjustment of the boundary lines between
the parcels. The boundary line adjustment will result in a
portion of land being transferred from the northerly parcel to
the southerly parcel.
This has been reviewed by the Director of Community Services and
the City Attorney and is recommended that the requested lot line
adjustment be granted.

They have requested an adjustment of the boundary lines
between the parcels. The boundary line adjustment will result in
a portion of land being transferred from the northerly parcel to
the southerly parcel.
It is recommended that the requested lot line adjustment be
granted.
