RESOLUTION NO. 7191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO CONSTRUCT TRANSIT
ADVERTISING SHELTERS BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF VERNON AND RAYMAR PRODUCTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Staff of the City of Vernon has
studied the prospect of allowing advertising bus shelters within
the City; and
WHEREAS, RayMar Productions desires to construct one
hundred (100) transit advertising shelters in the City of Vernon;
and
WHEREAS, RayMar Productions will be responsible for the
installation, maintenance, and operation of the shelters; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has approved a
recommendation by the City Administrator to approve an agreement
between RayMar Productions and the City of Vernon for a term of
ten (10) years from the date of execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves the Agreement to Construct Transit Advertising
Shelters, a copy of which has been presented to the City Council
concurrently with this resolution, and the City Council hereby
orders said Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
