RESOLUTION NO. 7220
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "B," PAGE 6
OF RESOLUTION NO. 7165, WHICH FIXED THE
COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY
AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7165 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon on June 25, 1998, to be effective on
July 1, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
amend page 6 of Schedule II, Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 7165 to
establish a position entitled "Energy Management Representative
(Trainee)" in the Utilities Department with the appropriate salary
scale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
are true and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective September 28, 1998, Schedule II,
Exhibit "B," page 6 of Resolution No. 7165 applicable to the
Utilities Department is hereby amended to create the position of
Energy Management Representative (Trainee) with an appropriate
salary scale as indicated on the amended page 6 of Schedule II,
Exhibit "B," which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a
part hereof.
SECTION 3: In all other respects, Resolution No. 7165,
as amended by Resolution No. 7210, shall remain in full force and
1 effect and the provisions of Resolution No. 7210 not consistent
2 with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
3 SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
4 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
5 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
6 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1998.
