RESOLUTION NO. 7307
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "B," PAGE
18 OF RESOLUTION NO. 7165, WHICH FIXED THE
COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY
AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7165 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon on June 25, 1998, to be effective on
July 1, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
Resolution No. 7282 on March 16, 1999, approving an Amendment to
the City Attorney Employment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of said Amendment provides for a
retainer salary of the City Attorney effective April 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Schedule II, Exhibit "B," page 18 of Resolution
No. 7165 provides for the position and retainer salary of the City
Attorney in the City Administrator/City Clerk Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
modify page 18 of Schedule II, Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 7165
in order to implement the provisions of the Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
are true and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective April 1, 1999, Schedule II, Exhibit
"B," page 18 of Resolution No. 7165 applicable to the City
Attorney is hereby amended to modify the retainer salary for the

position of City attorney in the City Administrator/City Clerk
Department as indicated on the amended page 18 of Schedule II,
Exhibit "B," which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a
part hereof.
SECTION 3: In all other respects, Resolution No. 7165,
as amended by Resolution Nos. 7210, 7220 and 7302 shall remain in
full force and effect, and the provisions of Resolution Nos. 7165,
7210, 7220 and 7302 not consistent with or in conflict with this
resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
