RESOLUTION NO. 7325
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON NOMINATING ANTHONY SALDANA OF GNB
TECHNOLOGIES AS VERNON'S BUSINESS COMMUNITY
REPRESENTATIVE ON THE SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to communication dated March 23, 1999,
the executive director of the Southeast Community Development
Corporation ("SCDC") has requested that the City of Vernon
nominate a member from the business community to represent Vernon
on the SCDC Board of Directors; and
_WHEREAS, on April 27, 1999, the City Council of the City
of Vernon approved a request by the city clerk to nominate Anthony
Saldana of GNB Technologies as Vernon's business community
representative on the SCDC Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Saldana has been active in the City of
Vernon's Chamber of Commerce and is willing to accept the City
Council's nomination as an SCDC director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
nominates Anthony Saldana of GNB Technologies as the City of
Vernon's business community representative on the SCDC Board of
Directors.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
