A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 VERNON APPOINTING EDUARDO OLIVO TO SERVE AS THE CITY
ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF VERNON

6 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 7292 adopted on March 16, 1999,
7 the City of Vernon approved an Agreement for Attorney Services with
8 Eduardo Olivo; and
9 WHEREAS, said Agreement provides that effective November 1,
10 1999, Eduardo Olivo will serve as the City Attorney of the City of
11 Vernon; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
13 appoint Eduardo Olivo to serve as the City Attorney of the City of
14 Vernon to provide City Attorney services pursuant to the Agreement for
15 Attorney Services.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
17 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
18 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
19 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
20 and correct.
21 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 appoints Eduardo Olivo to serve as the City Attorney of the City of
23 Vernon and compensation for said City Attorney services shall be paid
24 pursuant to the Agreement for Attorney Services approved March 16,
25 1999.

1 SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 1999.
