Our experience over the years assisting victims of crime has clearly demonstrated the need for the development of new and innovative approaches to providing victim services in our communities. Once again, we are submitting a re -application to the State Office of Criminal Justice Planning for continuation funding of our Project. Our application requires that we have an Operational Agreement with each of the agencies that coordinate services for victims of gang violence. Your support in helping us to continue our work through the signing of the enclosed operational agreements will be greatly appreciated. I have enclosed two signed copies of our operational agreement for your agency. Please sign both copies and return one in the enclosed envelope. To also assist us in meeting the re -application timelines, we need to receive the signed agreement by April 10, 2000. Thanks again for your support, and we look forward to continuing to work with you on behalf of victims of gang violence. Very truly yours, GIL GARCETTI District Attorney By FLOY J.
