Resolution No. 75201 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 271 28 RESOLUTION NO. 7520 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY LORETTA DODD TRUST WHEREAS, Loretta Dodd Trust is the owner of two joining parcels of land located at 3851/3855/3883 Soto Street 3805/3809 Soto Street (parcels 1 and 2) in the City of Vernon, all as described and shown on the attached Exhibit "A" nsisting of two (2) pages which are incorporated herein by is reference as though fully set forth at length; and WHEREAS, Loretta Dodd Trust desires to adjust the n boundaries between the two parcels whereby said djustment will create two new properties as described and shown on the attached Exhibit "B" consisting of three (3) pages hich are incorporated herein by this reference as though fully Iset forth at length; and WHEREAS, Loretta Dodd Trust has applied for a Lot ine Adjustment pursuant to Government Code Section 66412(d), which provides that the Subdivision Map Act does not apply to following: "(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created, provided the lot line adjustment is approved by the local agency, or -1- 1 2 3 4 5 6 9' 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 advisory agency...." and WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community ervices & Water, has recommended that said Lot Line Adjustment approved; and WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the Lot Line justment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances f the City of Vernon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon es hereby find and determine that the recitals contained reinabove are true and correct. SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment ated November 17, 1999, to adjust the common boundaries of the two existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment will create two new properties as described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community Services & Water. -2- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 _8 9 10 11 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 27 28 SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
