2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
3 CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE
ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY PENSKE TRUCK
4 LEASING, VERNON 2288 LLC AND HUNG YUAN YANG
5 WHEREAS, Penske Truck Leasing, Vernon 2288 LLC and

ung Yuan Yang are the owners of three adjoining parcels of
7
and located at 2727 Santa Fe Avenue, 2288 27th Street and 2701
8
Santa Fe Avenue (parcels 1, 2 and 3 respectively) in the City
9
10 f Vernon, all as described shown on the attached Exhibit "A"
11 onsisting of two (2) pages which are incorporated herein by
12 his reference as though fully set forth at length; and
13 WHEREAS, Penske Truck Leasing, Vernon 2288 LLC and
14 iung Yuan Yang desire to adjust the common boundaries between
15 the three parcels whereby said adjustment will create three new
16 Droperties as described and shown on the attached Exhibit "B"
17 lonsisting of two (2) pages which are incorporated herein by
18 this reference as though fully set forth at length; and
19 WHEREAS, Penske Truck Leasing, Vernon 2288 LLC and
20 ung Yuan Yang have applied for a Lot Line Adjustment pursuant
21 o Government Code Section 66412(d), which provides that the
22
Subdivision Map Act does not apply to the following:

(d) A lot line adjustment between two or
24
more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken
25
from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
27I1 where a greater number of parcels than originally
existed is not thereby created, provided the lot line

adjustment is approved by the local agency, or
advisory agency...."
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community
ervices & Water, has recommended that said Lot Line Adjustment
approved; and
WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the Lot Line
justment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances
f the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
WHE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
ereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment
ated February 14, 2000, to adjust the common boundaries of the
three existing properties being described in the attached
Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment will create three new
properties as described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby
pproved in accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin
gilson, Director of Community Services & Water.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
Shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon

Penske Truck Leasing, Vernon 2288 LLC, and Hung Yuan Yang are
