Re: Fee Resolution Changes
I am requesting that the resolution that sets the fees for various Vernon Health
Permits be amended due to recent changes in the Vernon City Code. City Ordinance
No. 1080 repealed Chapter 11 of the City Code, amended Chapter 13, and codified
the "Food Protection Program" into a new Chapter 11. These changes include the
addition of some new permit categories and the deletion of others. Therefore,
recommend the fee resolution be amended to create fees for the new permit
categories and eliminate fees for permit categories no longer used.
A copy of the current Health Permit fee resolution, amended to reflect proposed fee
changes, is attached. If you agree with these proposed changes, could you please
arrange to have a new resolution considered for approval by the City Council as soon
as possible? I have taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of this memo and proposed
changes to the City Attorney's office for review.
