YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, GARY WISKUS was employed by the City of Vernon since
1 Februa 1 1968• and
WHEREAS, GARY WISKUS retired from the service of the City of
Vernon on December 2, 2000; and
WHEREAS, GARY WISKUS was hired by the City of Vernon as a
Roseman in the Vernon Fire Department on February 1, 1968, advanced to the
position of Engineer on June 13, 1980, elevated to the position of Captain on March
7 1982, and promoted to the position of Battalion Chief on February 9, 1992 and
WHEREAS, GARY WISKUS has faithfully served the City of Vernon for
approximately 32-% years, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY CO UNCIL
F THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes this
opportunity to commend GAR Y WISKUS for his many years of devoted service to
the,i y of Vernon.
