Resolution No. 7816r 1' 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 7816 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY NEW TCB CORPORATION, VERNON MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY WHEREAS, New TCB Corporation, Vernon Management Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company are the owners of three adjoining parcels of land located at 2150 East 25th Street, 2615 Santa Fe Avenue and a Union Pacific railroad spur located directly to the west of 2150 East 25th Street and north of 2615 Santa Fe Avenue (parcels 1, 2 and 3 respectively) in the City of Vernon, all as described shown on the attached Exhibit "A" consisting of seven (7) pages which are incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length; and WHEREAS, New TCB Corporation, Vernon Management Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company desire to adjust the common boundaries between the three parcels whereby said adjustment will create three new properties as described and shown on the attached Exhibit "B" consisting of eight (8) pages which are incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length; and WHEREAS, New TCB Corporation, Vernon Management Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company have applied for a Lot Line Adjustment pursuant to Government Code Section 66412(d), which provides that the Subdivision Map Act does apply to the following: (d) A Lot Line Adjustment.between two or more 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 91 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken ,from one parcels is added to an adjacent parcel, and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created, provided the Lot Line Adjustment is approved by the local agency, or advisory agency..., and WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community Services & Water, has recommended that said Lot Line Adjustment be approved; and WHEREAS, the parcels resulting from the Lot Line Adjustment will conform to the zoning and building ordinances of the City of Vernon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein - above are true and correct. SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment dated May 21, 2001, to adjust the common boundaries of the three existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment will create three new properties as described in the attached exhibit "B" is hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of Community Services & Water.
