RESOLUTION NO. 7852
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II (EXHIBIT "B") OF
RESOLUTION NO. 7796 WHICH FIXED THE COMPENSATION
FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN
EXPENSE ALLOWANCES
WHEREAS, on June 28, 2001, Resolution No. 7796 was adopted by
the City Council of the City of Vernon to be effective on July 1, 2001;1
land
WHEREAS, on October 9, 2001, the Finance Committee recommended
that the City Council approve the recommendation of Bruce V.
Malkenhorst, the Director of Finance, dated October 2, 2001, that
modifications to the Police Department Dispatch classification and
salary scale be approved.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
amend page 14 of Schedule II, Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 7796 to
revise the salary scale of the Police Department Dispatch
classification to be Competitive with other local agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove.are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective October 21, 2001, Schedule II, Exhibit
page 14 of Resolution No. 7796 is hereby amended to incorporate
the necessary changes for the Police Department Dispatch position in
the City Administrator/City Clerk Department, as indicated in Exhibit
"A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
SECTION 3: The provisions -of Resolution Nos. 7796, 7819,

7826 and 7828 not consistent with or in conflict with this resolution
are hereby repealed; in all other respects, Resolution No. 7796, as
amended by Resolution Nos. 7819, 7826 and 7828 shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
