A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING RICK TORRES FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
i
WHEREAS, 1S, DICK TORRES was employed by the City of Vernon since May 15,
1 989; and
WIHEREAS, RICK TORRES mill retire from the service of the City of Vernon
July 8, 2002; and
WHEREAS, RICK TORRES was hired by the City of Vernon as an Accountant
Pf
in the City Administrator/ City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, RICK TORRES has faithfully served the City of Vernon for
approximately 1 2 years, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes this opportunity to
commend RICK TORRES for his manyyears of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes RICK TORRES
continued success in whatever endeavors he may undertake.
