A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RATE SCHEDULE NO. CS REGARDING
ELECTRICAL RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR ELECTRICAL
ENERGY DISTRIBUTED AND SUPPLIED BY THE CITY WITHIN
ITS BOUNDARIES

7 . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
8 Ordinance No. 1030 on May 16, 1995, providing that rates to be charged
9 for electrical energy distributed and supplied by the City within its
10 boundaries shall be set by resolution; and
11 WHEREAS, on June 20, 2000, the City Council of the City of
12 Vernon adopted Resolution No. 7557, which amended Rate Schedule No. CS;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
15 amend Rate Schedule, No. CS to reduce the administrative expenses of the
16 City with respect to late charge fee; and
17 WHEREAS, the proposed fees are to be effective on June 1,
18 2005.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
20 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
23 and correct.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25 adopts Rate Schedule No. CS as the City's customer service fees for
26 the distribution of electrical energy supplied by the City for certain
27 classes of service to be effective June 1, 2005, a copy of which is
28 attached hereto as Exhibit ~A" and made a part hereof.

SECTION 3:
Any provisions contained in Resolution Nos.
2 7557, 7062 and 6202 not consistent with or in conflict with this
3 resolution are hereby repealed. In all other respects, Resolution
4 Nos. 7557, 7062 and 6202 shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
6 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
7 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
8 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 2005.
