A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING EXHIBITS C, D AND F OF RESOLUTION
NO. 8764 RESPECTING VACATION POLICIES FOR EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
Resolution No. 8764 on June 29, 2005, which established the vacation

policies, holidays and "in lieuH holidays for employees of the City of
Vernoni and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
amend Schedules C, D and F of Resolution No. 8764 to incorporate certain
changes respecting the Police Department.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
16 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
17 and correct.

SECTION 2:
Effective June 29, 2005, Schedules C, D and F of
19 Resolution No. 8764 is hereby amended as indicated in Exhibit A which
20 is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
SECTION 3:
The provisions of Resolution No. 8764 not
22 consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed;
23 in all other respects Resolution No. 8764 shall remain in full force and
24 effect.

SECTION 4:
The Acting City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter
3 the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of July, 2005.

Plus any additional holidays granted by the City Council.
Minimum of 80 hours, the maximum dependent on those days that fall
on Monday-Thursday which may change each calendar year. The
maximum shall not exceed those hours given to miscellaneous
employees.
In the event the City Council grants any additional holidays only
one holiday (10 hours) will be granted. No more than 90 hours per
fiscal year will be given regardless of how many additional
holidays may be granted by the Council.
