A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SECTION 2 OF RESOLUTION NO. 8790
RESPECTING APPOINTMENT OF PERSONNEL AND REPEALING
ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH

7 WHEREAS, on June 29, 2005, the City Council of the City of
8 Vernon adopted Resolution No. 8790 establishing certain positions and
9 appointing personnel to fill said positions; and
10 WHEREAS, City staff have recommended that Section 2 of
11 Resolution No. 8790 be amended to correct errors and omissions.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
13 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
15 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
16 and correct.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
1S amends Section 2 of Resolution No. 8790 to read as follows:

SECTION 3:
In all other respects, Resolution No. 8790 shall
27 remain in full force and effect, and the provisions of said resolution
28 not consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby
1 repealed.

SECTION 4:
The Acting City Clerk of the City of Vernon

shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
