Resolution No. 8982EXCLUSIVELY INDUSTRIAL CITY OF VERNON EsT BUSHED 1905 RESOLUTION NO.8982 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON COMMENDING MARIO J. MENDOZA FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON WHEREAS, MARIO J. MENDOZA was employed by the City of Vernon from March 16,1986; and WHEREAS, MARIO J. MENDOZA will retire from the service of the City of Vernon on March 16, 2006; and WHEREAS, MARIO J. MENDOZA was hired by the City of Vernon as a Utilityman V in the Public Works Division of the Department of Community Services & Water on March 16, 1986 and reclassified to the position of Utilityman III in the General Government Building Division of the Department of Community Services & Water on July 2, 1989; and WHEREAS, MARIO J. MENDOZA has faithfully served the City of Vernon for approximately 20 years, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes this opportunity to commend MARIO J. MENDOZA for his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon. E SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes MARIO J. MENDOZA continued success in whatever endeavors he may undertake. SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall certify the passage of this resolution and present a copy thereof to MARIO J.
