3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
4 EXTENSIONS TO LISTING AGREEMENTS BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY OF VERNON AND CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD

6 WHEREAS, on September 7, 2005, the City Council of the City
7 of Vernon adopted Resolution No. 8843 approving three listing
8 agreements with Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc. ("Cushman &
9 Wakefield") for properties located at 4900 Bandini Boulevard, 3250 E.
10 Washington Boulevard and 2301 E. Vernon Avenue in the City of Vernon;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, the property located at 4900 Bandini Boulevard in
13 the City of Vernon has been sold; and
14 WHEREAS, on March 22, 2006, the City Council of the City of
15 Vernon adopted Resolution No. 8992 approving two listing extensions
16 for properties located at 3250 E. Washington Boulevard and 2301 E.
17 Vernon Avenue in the City of Vernon; and
18 WHEREAS, the property located at 2301 E. Vernon Avenue in
19 the City of Vernon has been sold; and
20 WHEREAS, the listing for the property located at 3250 E.
21 Washington Boulevard (the "Property") expires on September 13, 2006,
22 unless extended; and
23 WHEREAS, City staff have recommended that the listing with
24 Cushman & Wakefield for the Property be extended to January 13, 2007;
25 and
26 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
27 determined that, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (a) of
28 Section 2.27 of the Vernon City Code, it is in the public interest

and necessity to enter into a listing extension with Cushman &
Wakefield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
approves the listing extension for the Property, a copy of which are
attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated by reference.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
authorizes the Mayor to execute said extension for, and on behalf of,
the City of Vernon and the Acting City Clerk is hereby authorized to
attest thereto.
SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
directs the Acting City Clerk, or his designee, to send one fully
executed listing extension for the Property to:
Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc.

SECTION 5: The Acting City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
