RESOLUTION NO. 9363
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8689 TO APPOINT
ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO SERVE ON THE DISBURSEMENT
REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, the Vernon City Code provides that the City Council
of the City of Vernon shall designate by resolution the members to
serve on the Disbursement Review Subcommittee (the `Finance
Subcommittee"); and
WHEREAS, on March 2, 2005, the City Council of the City of
Vernon adopted Resolution No. 8689 which, among other things, selected
members of the City Council to serve on the Finance Subcommittee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon on July 2,
2007 selected Councilmen William Davis to serve as the first alternate
and William McCormick to serve as the second alternate on the Finance
Subcommittee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
amend Resolution No. 8689 to implement the designation of alternates
to the Finance Subcommittee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
amends Sections 3 and 4 of Resolution No. 8689, to read as follows:

SECTION 3: The City Administrator, or his
designee, shall act as the Secretary of the
Disbursement Review Subcommittee Section and is
authorized to exercise all of the duties granted by
the City Council. Thomas A. Ybarra shall serve as
the Chairman of the Disbursement Review
Subcommittee Section and Hilario Gonzales shall
serve as the Chairman Pro Tem of the Disbursement
Review Subcommittee Section. In the event that
Thomas A. Ybarra is absent, the first alternate
shall act as the Chairman. In the event that
Hilario Gonzales is absent, the second alternate
shall act as the Chairman Pro Tem.
SECTION 4: The members of the City Council
to serve on the Disbursement Review Subcommittee
Section shall be Thomas A. Ybarra and Hilario
Gonzales. The member of the City Council to serve
as first alternate on the Disbursement Review
Subcommittee Section is William Davis. The member
of the City Council to serve as second alternate on
the Disbursement Review Subcommittee Section is
William McCormick.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
