A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9362 BY AMENDING
PAGE 2 OF SCHEDULE X, EXHIBIT J, OF SAID
4 RESOLUTION REGARDING THE COMPENSATION, COSTS AND
5 BENEFITS OF ITS EMPLOYEES
6 WHEREAS, on July 16, 2007, Resolution No. 9362 was adopted
7 by the City Council of the City of Vernon amending and restating
8 Salary Resolution No. 9342 to be effective on July 8, 2007 (the
9 "Salary Resolution"); and
10 WHEREAS, page 2 of Schedule X, Exhibit J, of the Salary
11 Resolution provides for positions and salary scales of positions
12 within the Light.& Power Department; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
14 establish a new salary scale for the position of Resource Scheduler in
15 the Light & Power Department; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
17 amend page 2 of Schedule X, Exhibit J, of the Salary Resolution to
18 implement the aforementioned change.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
20 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
21 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
23 and correct.
24 SECTION 2: Effective August 6, 2007, page 2 of Schedule X,
25 Exhibit J, of the Salary Resolution is hereby amended to establish a
26 new salary scale for the position of Resource Scheduler in the Light &
27 Power Department as indicated in Exhibit A which is attached hereto
28 and made a part hereof by this reference.
1 SECTION 3: The provisions of Resolution No. 9362 not
2 consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby
3 repealed; in all other respects, Resolution No. 9362 shall remain in
4 full force and effect.
5 SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
6 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
7 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
8 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 2007.
