A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9362 BY AMENDING
SCHEDULE J OF SAID RESOLUTION REGARDING THE
4 COMPENSATION, COSTS AND BENEFITS OF ITS EMPLOYEES
5
6 WHEREAS, on July 16, 2007, Resolution No. 9362 was adopted
7 by the City Council of the City of Vernon amending and restating
8 Salary Resolution No. 9342 to be effective on July 8, 2007 (the
9 "Salary Resolution"); and
10 WHEREAS, Schedule J, Exhibit X, of the Salary Resolution
11 provides for positions and salary scales of positions within the Light
12 & Power Department; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
14 create the position of Customer Service Supervisor in the Light &
15 Power Department with the appropriate salary scale; and
16 WHEREAS, the.City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
17 amend Exhibit J of the Salary Resolution to implement the
18 aforementioned change; and
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
20 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
21 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
23 and correct.
24 SECTION 2: Effective November 5, 2007, Exhibit J (Schedule
25 X) of the Salary Resolution is hereby amended to create the position
26 of Customer Service Supervisor of the Light & Power Department with
27 the appropriate salary scale as indicated on page 6 of Exhibit J
28 (Schedule X) which is attached hereto as Exhibit A'and made a part

hereof by this reference.
SECTION 3: The provisions of Resolution Nos. 9362, 9373
and 9389 not consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are
hereby repealed; in all other respects, Resolution Nos. 9362, 9373 and
9389 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
