RESOLUTION NO. 9548
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF
VERNON REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 8689 AND 9262
RELATING TO MEETINGS OF THE DISBURSEMENT REVIEW
SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, on March'2, 2005, the City Council of the City of
Vernon adopted Resolution No. 8689 which set the day, time and place
for .regular meetings of the Disbursement Review Subcommittee of the
City of Vernon (the "Subcommittee") effective April 2, 2005; and
WHEREAS, on July 16, 2007, the City Council of the City of
Vernon adopted Resolution No. 9363 appointing alternate members to
serve on the Subcommittee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1145, which will be effective
March 20, 2008, amends the Vernon City Code by deleting the section
creating the Subcommittee, thereby abolishing the Subcommittee; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of
Vernon to repeal Resolution Nos. 8689 and 9363 relating to meetings of
the Subcommittee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove
are true and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective February 19, 2008, Resolution Nos. 8689
and 9363 and any resolution or parts of resolutions in conflict with
this Resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
