RESOLUTION NO. 9586
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8365 REGARDING THE
PUBLIC BENEFITS RESOURCE COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF
VERNON
WHEREAS, on February 18, 2004, Resolution No. 8365 was
adopted regarding the establishment of meetings of the Public Benefits
Resource Committee ("PBRC") of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
amend Resolution No., 8365 to modify Section 3 of Resolution No. 8365
regarding the officers and members of the PBRC to implement changes
made to the Vernon City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove
are true and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective April 7, 2008, the City Council of the
City of Vernon hereby amends Section 3 of Resolution No. 8365 as
follows:
SECTION 3: The City Administrator, or his
designee, is hereby appointed as the Secretary
of the Public Benefits Resource Committee
Section and is authorized to exercise all of the
duties granted by the City Council. The Mayor
of the City Council shall serve as the Chairman
of the Public Benefits Resource Committee
Section and the Mayor Pro Tem of the City

Council shall serve as the Chairman Pro Tem of
the Public Benefits Resource Committee Section.
SECTION 4: In all other respects, Resolution No. 8365, as
amended, shall remain in full force and effect, and the provisions of
said resolution not consistent with or in conflict with this
resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
