RESOLUTION NO. 9613
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9362 BY AMENDING
SCHEDULE X, EXHIBIT J, OF SAID RESOLUTION REGARDING
THE COMPENSATION COSTS AND BENEFITS OF ITS
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, on July 16, 2007, Resolution No. 9362 was adopted
by the City Council of the City of Vernon amending and restating
Salary Resolution No. 9342 to be effective on July 8, 2007 (the
"Salary Resolution"); and
WHEREAS, Schedule X, Exhibit J, of the Salary Resolution
provides for the positions and salary scales of positions within the
Light & Power Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
increase and make an adjustment to the salary scale of the Electric
Resources Planning and Development Manager in the Light & Power
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: Effective May 5, 2008, Schedule X, Exhibit J, of
the Salary Resolution is hereby amended as indicated on Exhibit A which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference to
implement the salary increase and adjustment for the position of
Electric Resource Planning and Development Manager in the Light & Power
Department.

SECTION 3: The provisions of Resolution Nos. 9362, 9373,
9389, 9453, 9469, 9491, 9526, 9549, 9568, 9581 and 9602, not
consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby
repealed; in all other respects, Resolution Nos. 9362, 9373, 9389,
9453, 9469, 9491, 9526, 9549, 9568, 9581 and 9602, shall remain in
full force and effect.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 2008.
