RESOLUTION NO. 9837
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPOINTING THE CITY'S DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE
DELEGATE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CALIFORNIA CONTRACT CITIES ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has been a member of the
California Contract Cities Association (the "CCC") for many years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
appoint delegates to represent the City on the Board of Directors of
the CCC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
appoints William M. McCormick, a member of the City Council, to serve
as its delegate on the Board of Directors of the CCC and hereby
appoints Richard J. Maisano, a member of the City Council, to serve as
the City's alternate delegate on the Board of Directors of the CCC.
Such appointments shall be effective until the death, resignation,
disqualification or subsequent removal by the City Council of such
representatives.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
directs the City Clerk, or her designee, to send a copy of this
Resolution to the Secretary of CCC.
SECTION 4: Any resolution or parts of a resolution or

minute orders in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
