3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF
4 VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9639 BY AMENDING
SCHEDULE NO. XV OF SAID RESOLUTION REGARDING THE -
5 COMPENSATION, COSTS AND BENEFITS OF ITS EMPLOYEES
(AMENDMENT N0. 7)

7 WHEREAS, on June 16, 2008, ;the City Council of the City of
8 Vernon adopted Resolution No. 9639 to be effective July 6, 2008,
9 regarding the compensation, costs and benefits of its employees (the
10 "Salary Resolution"); and
11 WHEREAS, Schedule XV, Exhibit 0, of the Salary Resolution.
12 provides for the positions and salary scales of positions within the
13 Office of the Treasurer; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to cre-ate the position and
15 salary scale of a Deputy City Treasurer, position within the Office of
16 the Treasurer; and
17 WHEREAS, the ,City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
18 amend Schedule No. XV (Exhibit 0) of-the Salary Resolution to
19 implement the aforementioned change.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE
21 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
22 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
23 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
24 and correct.
25 SECTION 2: Effective March 30, 2009, Schedule No. XV
26 (-Exhibit 0-) of t-h-eSa-l-a-r-y Reso-l-udon- is--her-eby-amended as indicated-on-
- -
27 Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this
28 reference, to implement the creation of the Deputy City Treasurer
1 position in the Office of the Treasurer with the appropriate salary
2 scale.
3 SECTION 3: The provisions of Resolution No. 9639, as
4 amended by Resolution Nos. 9664, 9672, 9678, 9728, 9815 and. 9888, not
5 consistent with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby
6 repea-led; in all other respects, Resolution Nos. 96.39_, 9664, 9672,
7 9678, 9728, 9815-and 9888 shall remain in full force and effect.
8 SECTION 4 The City Clerk of the City ,of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
10 thereafter the same-shall be in-full force and effect.
11 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of March, 2009.
