RESOLUTION NO. 10,066
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON PROVIDING FOR THE RECOGNITION OF CERTAIN
SIGNATURES ON WARRANTS ISSUED BY THE CITY OF VERNON
TO WITHDRAW FUNDS DEPOSITED BY THE CITY OF VERNON
IN ANY BANK ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon adopted Resolution No. 9826 on
January 26, 2009, authorizing certain people to sign checks to
1withdraw funds for the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Leonis C. Malburg retired from the City Council of
the City of Vernon effective July 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
jappointed Dan Newmire to ,serve the unexpired portion of Councilman
IMalburg's term; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon as well as
other departments within the City have reorganized, and the City
Council desires to establish procedures to provide for the recognition
lof certain signatures on warrants issued by the City of Vernon to
lwithdraw funds deposited by the City in any bank account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
JOF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That any of the following named persons are
hereby authorized to sign checks to withdraw funds for the City of
Vernon and all banks used by the City, including but not limited to
the Bank of America, The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A.
and East West Bank, are hereby authorized to honor and pay any and all
checks so signed, including those drawn to the individual order of any
officer or person authorized to sign the same and to endorse for

deposit checks and drafts payable to the City of Vernon:
Hilario "Larry" Gonzales
William J. Davis
William M. McCormick
Richard J. Maisano
Dan Newmire
Rory Burnett
Joaquin Leon
SECTION 2: Section 1 of Resolution No. 9826, and all other
resolutions, or parts of resolutions, not consistent with or in
conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage, approval and adoption of this resolution, and
the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall cause this resolution and
her certification to be entered in the Book of Resolutions of the
Council of this City.
