SUBJECT: Request for Senior Programmer Position within IT Department
I am requesting for creation of a new position within the Information Technology

databases maintenance, and custom software development. A new position, senior
programmer, will cover the City's needs with some complex projects that the IT

For the last seven years we have been using Gursey, Schneider LLP Company as our
vendor for reports, custom applications, and database support. The cost of the provided

This position was not budgeted in the current fiscal year budget, but it can be offset with
the amounts that were already budgeted in the departments that consume those
consulting services.
