RE: New Position -Business and Account Supervisor
The Light & Power Department is seeking to create the position of Business and

would like to use in-house personnel to resume the responsibilities of the monthly
financial reporting and the credit risk assessor's requirements.
Enclosed is paperwork necessary to amend the salary resolution.
Fiscal Impact: A fiscal year savings of $312,000.00 for the termination of the contract to
Moriarty & Associates. Ayearly salary range for the new position from $66,912.00 -
$97,344.00. - - -

Director of Light and Power v`
SUBJECT: New Position — Business and Account Supervisor
A review of this department's needs has been on -going and more specifically the needs of the
Project Control Group within the Light & Power Department. With the current changes and the
recent termination of the CPA consultant Jim Moriarty, I am recommending the following
personnel actions for the Light & Power Department:
■ Eliminate the position of Senior Business and Account Clerk (4990) under
9000.
■ Create the position of Business and Account Supervisor with a salary
comparable to that of Customer Service Supervisor per the attached
salary scale and job description.
The new proposed salary scale is aligned more appropriately for the responsibilities required of
the Business and Account Supervisor position.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
