A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON SETTING THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR REGULAR
MEETINGS OF .THE AD HOC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON
ELECTRIC RATES OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, on April 19, 2011, the City Council of the City of
Vernon adopted Resolution No. 2011-69, which establishes an Ad Hoc
Advisory Committee on Electric Rates in the City of Vernon (the
"Committee"); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2.5-5 of the Code of the
City of Vernon, California, 1959, the time and place of committee and
commission meetings of the City of Vernon shall be established by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish the time and
place of regular meetings of the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the C,ty of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: Section 3 is effective as of October 5, 2011.
SECTION 3: Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Electric Rates.
The regular meetings of the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Electric Rates
of the City of Vernon shall be held in the City Council Chamber at 4305
Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California, on the first Wednesday of the
months of March, June, September, and December at the hour of 8:00 a.m.
If said regular meeting is scheduled on a recognized holiday, said
meeting shall be cancelled and take place on the following Wednesday,
at the same time and place.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage, approval and adoption of this resolution, and
the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall cause this resolution and
the City Clerk's certification to be entered in the File of
Resolutions of the Council of this City.

Resolution No. ERC-1
PURPOSE:
At its meeting on October 5, 2011, the Electric Rates Advisory Committee adopted
Resolution No. ERC-1, establishing the following regular meeting schedule:
• First Wednesday of each March, 8:00 a.m.
• First Wednesday of each June, 8:00 a.m.
• First Wednesday of each September, 8:00 a.m.
• First Wednesday of each December, 8:00 a.m.
Pursuant to Vernon City Code Section 2.5-5, regular meetings of commissions must be
designated by an appropriate city council resolution.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that an appropriate city council resolution be approved establishing
the time and place of regular meetings of the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Electric
Rates as provided for in Resolution No. ERC-1.
