The proposed truck will replace Unit No. 248, a 1987 F-700, that has 88,000 miles on it, is no longer reliable, and is nearly obsolete with many of the parts no longer manufactured. The Ford F-750 meets the above -mentioned criteria in terms of safety, quality, performance, and standardization. The City Attorney's office has reviewed the subject RFP'and approved it, as to form.
